Weekly Message from Mrs Clayton
It’s been a wonderfully busy and enriching week here at school! We began with a special moment on Sunday as our children and families gathered for the Centenary Mass at Most Holy Trinity – a joyful occasion marking 100 years of faith and community. This morning, we welcomed many of you to our Family Breakfast Morning. It was lovely to see so many families sharing time together – thank you to everyone who joined us and for helping to raise £233, which will go towards school projects.
Our Harvest Festival rehearsals are well underway, and the children in Reception and KS1 are looking forward to sharing their songs and reflections next week. As part of Black History Month, Reception and KS1 have also been learning about the lives of Rosa Parks and Maya Angelou. These powerful stories have helped us reflect on the Catholic Social Teaching principle of "Showing We Care" – encouraging all of us to act with kindness, courage, and justice.
Next week will be another full and exciting (but short!) four-day week, with our Harvest Festival on Thursday and a special Rise Theatre production on Wednesday for children in Reception to Year 2.
Wishing you all a restful and happy weekend.
Staffing update:
Today, we also say a sad farewell to Mrs Morton in the school office. She has truly been a valued member of our team and will be greatly missed by staff, children, and families alike. We are, however, excited for her new adventure and wish her every success in the future. At the same time, we are pleased to welcome Mrs Wootton to our office team and are very excited for her to start her new role after half term.
We are also looking forward to welcoming Mrs Gage to our St Anne Line family, who will be joining KS1 from Monday.
