PE & Sports Premium Grant
This grant has been allocated by the government to fund additional and sustainable improvements to the provision of PE and sport, for the benefit of primary-aged pupils. This is intended to encourage the development of healthy, active lifestyles.
PE & Sports Strategy 2021-2022
In 2021 the school will receive £17,224 for KS1 pupils.
|Through activities such as tree climbing, swinging, den building etc. pupils will improve their core strength, muscle tone, co-ordination and generally increase their physical activity levels.||
Children will be able to use and build upon their physical fitness during PE lessons.
At playtime and lunchtime children have access to climbing equipment to ensure these skills and fitness levels are sustained.

Staff have developed their skills and knowledge of teaching dance.
Children are able to copy, create and enjoy dance as a form of exercise and a healthy lifestyle approach.
Children will complete a term of dance PE lessons with their class teacher.
At playtime and lunchtime the children have access to a "stage" area and a bluetooth speaker where they can continue to develop and practise their dance skills all year round.
