It is important that children feel a sense of belonging and wearing a school uniform achieves this. Uniform is also intended to ensure that pupils are adequately and safely prepared for their various learning activities in school. 

All items listed below are compulsory uniform.

It is compulsory to have the St Anne Line school logo badge on the items indicated.

We recognise the need to support our families financially and wish to promote an ethos of sustainability, therefore a second-hand uniform shop is available throughout the school year.  (Please keep an eye on the school newsletter and app messages for dates.)

Our school uniform is now available to order online from Schoolwear Centre Basildon.

Please ensure all uniform is clearly labelled so that your child can recognise their own clothes.

Nursery Compulsory Uniform

• Red polo shirt with school logo
• Red jumper with school logo
• Red elasticated waist jogging bottoms
• White, black or grey socks
• Plain Black velcro shoes/trainers
• A pair of Wellington Boots are required, to be kept in nursery for outdoor learning during wet weather

Reception Compulsory Uniform

• Red polo shirt with school logo
• Red jumper or cardigan with school logo
• Red elasticated waist jogging bottoms
• White, black or grey socks
• Plain black velcro shoes/trainers
• A pair of Wellington Boots are required, to be kept in school for outdoor learning during wet weather

Year 1 & 2 Compulsory Uniform

• Red polo shirt with school logo
• Red jumper or cardigan with school logo
• Grey trousers, skirt or pinafore dress
• White or grey socks or grey tights
• Plain black shoes, suitable for outdoor play (no heels)

Summer Uniform 

In the warmer weather children must have suncream applied & have a sunhat for outdoor learning/play times.

• Nursery - Red shorts with an elasticated waist
• Reception  - Grey school shorts with an elasticated waist, red & white checked summer dress
• Key Stage 1 - Grey school shorts, red & white checked summer dress

PE Compulsory Kit

All PE kit must be in drawstring bag with your child's name clearly visible on the outside.

• White T-shirt with school logo
• Red shorts
• White socks
• Plain black velcro or pull on plimsolls

Hair

Long hair must be secured back off the face with hair elastics or a head band matching the uniform colours.  Embellishments such as bows are permitted as long as they are school colours, small and discreet.

Jewellery

Small stud earrings can be worn but MUST be removed on PE & Forest School days as staff are not permitted to remove these.

No other jewellery is permitted.
