Our school meals are prepared on site by our own In-House Catering team enabling us to ensure that the ingredients are sourced locally and are of the highest quality. The kitchen has achieved the Health & Safety Five Star Award for many years.
Our dining experience for our pupils involves being seated in smaller groups on round tables with self-serve water and salad, giving a family-style social meal time. Our older pupils are encouraged to help younger pupils by serving them. At the end of lunch, children help to clear tables, giving the children a sense of responsibility.

Please also see the weekly menu in the school newsletters. Your child will need to tell their teacher during the morning register what meal they would like that day. Please make sure you have spoken to your child about their dinner choices so they know which to ask for.

We are fortunate that the government recognises the need for children to have a healthy, balanced lunch and have given infant schools a grant to provide school meals free of charge.
If your child has any allergies, let us know, and we will see how we can meet their needs.
Sometimes you may wish to send your child to school with a packed lunch box. This must NOT contain any nuts, chocolate or sweet items or juice/fizzy drinks. We have severe allergies in school and bringing chocolate or nut items into school can seriously harm other children.
A packed lunch box should include sources of protein and long-lasting carbohydrates to ensure children are well nourished and able to focus on their afternoon lessons.
