At St Anne Line Catholic Infant School we strive for our children to be safe, motivated, curious, creative and active learners.  

In Reception we follow the 'In The Moment' approach to the curriculum which encourages independence alongside the acquisition and development of academic, physical & social skills. Key Stage 1 classes of Year 1 & 2 follow a thematic topic based curriculum which ensures a progression of knowledge and skills applied in a cross curricular approach. Across both Reception and Key Stage 1 the successful, DFE approved phonics scheme Read Write Inc. is used to teach reading.

The children in our school have access to up to date digital devices to support and enhance learning in computing lessons and other subjects such as science. 

Our outdoor learning environment provides children with opportunities for investigation, exploration and to develop their physical and social skills.  Each class takes part in forest schools during the year which further enhances the rich experiences our school provides for the children.
