Welcome to St Anne Line Catholic Infant School and Nursery.

I am very proud to be headteacher of St. Anne Line Catholic Infant School. Our school serves a rich and diverse school community where families come from many different cultures and speak a wide variety of languages. Our mission is to serve the families of Basildon who would like their children to receive a Catholic education.

The admissions policy states our commitment to admit Catholic children, but, as we are an inclusive school, we also welcome children of all beliefs and faiths. Our children learn respect for each other and learn together in harmony. We have high expectations of everyone in our school community and work together to ensure that our mission statement is realised.

Our happy and successful school is a two-form entry infant school situated in the Lee Chapel North area of Basildon, Essex. We encourage all of our pupils to have a positive experience of learning. We offer exciting learning opportunities, both inside and outside the classroom which encourage pupils to question, explore and discover things for themselves. The staff endeavour to provide a calm and stimulating environment where good behaviour and mutual respect is modelled every day.
We are fortunate to be able to offer nursery education from the age of two and have the Ducklings and Wagtails Nursery rooms linked to our school, so that our youngest children are able to use our school resources.

We work in close partnership with our families, the Church and the wider community to ensure the success of our children. We believe that strong links between home and school help children to become confident learners and give them the best possible chance to succeed.
