Computing
Computing is taught as a discrete subject, as well as being used to support cross-curricular learning. Pupils are taught a range of knowledge, skills and understanding through the computing curriculum which will prepare them for life as a digital citizen of the modern world. They explore coding, Internet Literacy and Communication as well as Online Safety. Children learn how to research, create digital content and programme to make things happen. They will exchange and share information, reviewing , modifying and evaluating work as it progresses. Children will be taught strategies of how to be responsible online as well as what to do, who and where to seek help if they encounter a problem whilst using technology. This links closely with our PSHE curriculum.
